Plans for 2013 and 2014
Following the success of the 2010 – 2012 project, “Sneb yn Becso Dam” (nobody gives a damn), which was staged in Summer 2012, the Urdd Youth National Theatre will begin a new cycle in July 2013, thanks to the support of £60,000 from the Arts Council of Wales. This will be a new and original show, which will appeal to school pupils and offer a chance for them to get a taste of performing and /or theatre production.
The Urdd Youth Company have recieved substantial financial support through The Laura Ashley Family Foundation and £5000 through the BBC Performing Arts Fund.

Cysgu'n Brysur - THE MUSICAL
This new play is based in a classroom at school . - The exams have begun but there is one vacancy in the room. Empty because a student has been killed in a car accident . His life is over but what about his friends, his girlfriend, his sister and his enemies? To all sat obediently at their desks in anticipation for freedom, under pressure to succeed. The future is important but first they must survive the present - full of grief , passion , fun and adventure .
Jeremy Turner is the Youth Theatre Company's Director and is also the Artistic Director of Arad Goch . Rhys Taylor is the Music Director. Bethan Marlow will devise and develop the script with the all important music composed by a young popular band called BROMAS.
