The 'Maes' - Eisteddfod Site

The location for the 2013 Urdd National Eisteddfod is Cilwendeg Farm near Boncath.

The Eisteddfod last visited the area eighteen years ago in 1995, where it was situated on exactly the same site! And we're looking forward to visiting the are again between 27 May - 1 June.

How to get to the Maes

By Car:

Eisteddfod yr Urdd 2013 is held on Cilwendeg Park on the B4332 between Boncath and Cenarth. Yellow directional signs will be placed on all main roads leading to the Eisteddfod Maes but here are a few tips to help with your travel arrangements.

From the South and the East: follow the A484 from Carmarthen towards Newcastle Emlyn and turn left in Cenarth onto the B4332 towards Boncath and the Maes.

From North and Mid Wales: follow the A487 through Ceredigion to Cardigan and after crossing the river on the bypass, take the A478 towards Tenby.  In 4.5 miles turn left onto the B4332 for Boncath

From South Pembrokeshire and St Clears: take the A40 to Penblewin roundabout at Narberth and then the A478 towards Cardigan.  After approx 15 miles turn right for Boncath on the B4332
