Where is the Eisteddfod in 2014?
The Eisteddfod will be held on Rhiwlas fields on the outskirts of Bala, Meirionnydd between 26 - 31 May 2014.
Where will the Eisteddfod be held in 2015 and 2016?
In 2015 the Urdd National Eisteddfod will be held in Caerphilly and in 2016 it will be held in Flintshire.
Do you have to be a member of the Urdd to compete in the Eisteddfod?
What facilities are on the Maes for people with disabilities?
Buggies are available to transport people across the Maes, and are also available to transport you from the car park to the Main Entrance. You will need to provide your own wheelchair to be used on the Maes. Disabled toilets are available on the Maes and every stand and stall has a ramp at every entrance. If you require any assistance, please come and speak to a Steward in the Canolfan Groeso at the Main Entrance.
Is there parking for people with disabilities?
Yes, parking for those with disabilities is located as closely as possible to the main enterance
I need to bring heavy equipment onto the Maes such as a harp or other instruments. Is there any help available on arrival?
Yes, please notify a steward at the Welcome Pavilion who will radio for assistance
Are dogs allowed onto the Maes or the Caravan Site?
No, we only allow Guide Dogs on the Maes and the Caravan Site.
Do I need a seperate ticket to enter the Maes during the day and the concerts or competitions in the evening?
Yes, seperate tickets are required for certain evening concerts and competitions.
How to I buy tickets?
Tickets will go on sale from February 2014 through our ticketline 0845 257 1639 and website urdd.org/eisteddfod. Tickets will be at a reduced price for a limited time so remember to buy your tickets early!
Are the prelims (rhagbrofion) held on the Maes?
Yes, all prelims are held on the Maes either in the Studios, Choral Hall or Dance Hall. The details are in the Official Programme, which will be available in February 2014.
