Catrin's memories of the Urdd Eisteddfod in Carmarthenshire 2007:

"The Eisteddfod in Carmarthenshire 2007 was my favourite, because I was chosen to be part of the junior schools' show "O Bren Braf". I'm a member of Dyffryn Tywi Performing Arts School and it was a fantastic experience to be part of the Urdd's Goodwill Message at the Eisteddfod. I'm also a member of the Urdd Adran in my village of Llanfihangel-ar-arth, and we had success in the group singing."

Sue Nash from Llandudno's memories of the Urdd Eisteddfod in Cardiff Bay 2005:

"My favourite memory of the Eisteddfod was at the Urdd Eisteddfod in Cardiff Bay 2005. My son was competing in his first Eisteddfod, at only 5 years old. He won the Solo Recitation competition for Learners under 8 years of age, and seeing him standing on the stage at the Wales Millennium Centre, with hundreds of people watching him, brings a tear to my eye every time I think about it.

Neither I nor my husband speak Welsh, and the fact the Jack has managed to compete at this level is an incredible feat. His Welsh has developed enourmously, and he intends on competing from now on as a first language competitor. Thank you to Ysgol Talhaiarn, Conwy for all your help."
